Hi

I'm not sure that my issue is a beginners problem but here we go.

I have two pictures of the same location with different persons in each image, in one image the person is in the sunlight and the person in the other image is standing in the shade.

What I am trying to do is put both persons in the same image and have it look like they are both in the sunlight.

I have pasted the person who was standing in the shade into my main image
and tried to change hue/brightness etc but I have not been able to get the
color/hue of the the two persons to match, it just looks fake

Any suggestion would be appreciated.:)

Hi Chris ...

This is something that you can do automatically in Photoshop but Elements doesn't have the same feature ... you just have to experiment with Hue & Saturation, Shadows & Highlights, Dodge Tool etc

Thanks Wendy

I'll experiment as you suggested.

I have only just started using PSE again and have upgraded to version 7, big change from version 3 I used in 2004

I cannot justify going to Photoshop (yet) a lot to learn about using PSE7 - but fun!

FYI the images I am using where taken with a 2 Meg Nikon E2500 camera in 2002, I am amazed with the quality of some of the images as I have had 4 to 7 Meg Point and shoot cameras since and they never seemed to take as good a picture!

# I currently have a Lumix FZ18 which takes some really good pictures, not ready for a DSLR as yet!

Have a look at http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/files/2/4/9/4/0/grand-canyon-two-700x600.jpg
