Do you know why some thumbnails from Pixentral are larger than others?

I like posting large items on Pixentral so that when you click on the thumbnail you get to see real detail on the original. Does the size of the thumbnail that appears in the forum relate to the size of the photo you've uploaded at Pixentral?

Or am I imaging that some thumbnails are larger than others. :o

And, does it matter to the forum whether the thumbnail is large or not? You mention dial up loading time - is it longer when the thumbnail is larger?

Hi Jan ...

Its a little more complex that just the pixel size of the image you upload to Pixentral ... some of it is also to do with the Height & Width ratios of the image.

As an example if you try and post a wide image that hasn't much height to it then the thumbnail is really big.
