Element 7 question about Photo Books

I am a new user and attempting to do a Photo Book. I can't seem to insert a picture and have it resize to the box already preset. And I cannot copy and paste in this feature. For instance, if I decide to add a photo to a page, it doesn't do the frame too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Karen: I'm on a Mac but the process should be the same on a PC.

In order for the photo not needing to be resized is for it to be in the same resolution and the preset.

An easy way of resizing is as follows:
Note that I imported a 3" x 3" 120 dpi into a 2" x 2" 100 dpi window. The image is too large for the new document size. It has to be resized.
Go to Image>Resize>Scale

Use the following instructions for resizing (usually called scaling).
