I have noticed that on several of the photos I've seen have been signed by the photographer.
How do you get a signature on your photos? Is it a new layer and the text tool? Sorry for the silly question. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Penny ...
There are several ways of doing it ranging from just typing your name on the image to creating a brush and using that. Here are a couple of tutorials on making a signature/copyright brush and one on saving the brush.
Simple Signature Brush (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=427)
Complex Copyright Brush ... (Message No 14) (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=427)
Using Preset Manager to save brushes ... (Message No 19) (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3077)
Hope they help :)

I must be doing something wrong. I have Elements 7 . I cannot find a brush palette. I am probably looking in the wrong spot. < sigh > All i can find is the smart brush tool and then the add and remove and brush size tab. I am so confused...

The Smart Brush Tool (a cog w/ a brush icon) can be selected by pressing F. Thr Brush Tool (just a paint brush) is located right next to it. It can also be selected by pressing B.
