PSE6 Mac: how to downsize 12MB to 5MB photos?

I know how to downsize photos for E-mailing, for the Web, etc. However, I have no idea how to downsize a large image such as one of 12MB in size down to 4 or 5 MB in size, and without losing image quality. I understand that I can upload the photos to PhotoBucket or any other image hosting forum, but that won't work because I need to upload the photos to a forum that requires these be downsized before uploading straight from my hard drive. Is there a way to accomplish this using PSE6 for the Mac?

Hi Ray,

To resize images for the web, you may want to use File > Save For Web. The resulting dialog window allows you to resize the image to your needs by dimensions and/or file size.
