I think that one time, I saw a little harness that fit around the front of a person, under both armpits and around the neck, and a camera could be hung from it. It must have had some kind of retractable strap so you could just lift it up, shoot, and put it back against your chest. It would kind of be like a backpack, worn backwards.

Any ideas what I'm talking about? I'm tired of scooting my camera up my shoulder, or carrying it...and it's uncomfy just dangling from my neck.

I'd google it if I knew what it was called...

Val- Don't ignore the Lowepro Slings. They ride like a backpack but they have the ability to slide to the front quickly, and it holds all your lenses, filters, car keys, tasers, snake bite kits, signal flares and more!

I've got a "R" Strap (http://www.blackrapid.com/innovations.php) and it is great.

Thanks for all of the good options! Looks like my camera-swingin' days may soon be coming to an end! :):)
