Ok, I'm disappointed that Adobe did not include a Pen Tool with Photoshop Elements:(. Who could live without that tool?! Anyways, after having done some research, I realized that no plug-in (or anything like that) could "input" a Pen Tool into Elements. That being said, I was wondering if anyone knew any programs on the internet that allowed the use of a Pen Tool or something to that effect? A free program would be awesome; however, I can make do with a trial of the software:rolleyes:

OnOne Essentials 2 for Elements has the pen tool in the Cut-It-Out module and it works very well.

I seem to recall that there's a discount available for subscribers here

for a stand-alone vector program, you really can't beat Xara Xtreme (http://stats.xaraonline.com/ID.980026/product.XaraXtreme4/redirectid.XaraXtremeHome/affiliate.html) in terms of price & features.
Since there isn't an "Illustrator Elements" available, this is the next best thing -:) I use it to do my illustration work (t-shirts, invites, graphics, etc.)

Thanks for the referral Graficalicus and Tony! I tried both programs out. Now I am looking for a program that is free that uses the pen tool. Is there such a thing? It doesn't have to include much else. Hey, I'd even take a program that included only the pen tool and nothing else. Thanks for any suggestions, in advance.

Hi, I did a search and found links that say GIMP has the pentool and is FREE.
Don't know if this search link will work.

See if anything is helpful there.
I have CS2 and am trying to learn it...not getting there.
So if you are missing the tool ... Gimp won't be a prob, it is supposed to be not easy to learn.
Good luck!

Emkayess65-
Thank you for suggesting GIMP! Definately like the free part!!!! Again, i'm asking for something more. I'd love to have the "free-ness" of GIMP and the great features of Xara Xtreme mixed together. I'm sure it's not possible, but it's at least worth asking. Anybody have any ideas?
