I am having some trouble with PSE6 and the organizer. I started having trouble with PSE6 freezing up after importing a new batch of RAW (PEF) photos. So I deleted my library, imported all my photos, let it build thumbnail database, and when I enlarge the thumbnail to its largest size in the organizer the photo is fuzzy and will not clear up. Normally when I click on the thumbnail to enlarge it in the organizer for about a half second it is fuzzy and then the image resolution is clear. But now it doesn't and I notice the cpu is running at 50% with no other programs running. I see a few other processes running at less than 1%. So I have also tried to export some photos and it just freezes up also. Any tips?

If you have a processor that is dual/quad-core or hyperthreaded (later Pentium 4's), then you're probably encountering a bug in PSE 6's handling of raw files. See solution 3 in this Adobe tech note for a workaround:

Any idea if a real fix is in the works? GD

You have to get PSE 7. (Adobe almost never ships bug-fix releases for PSE.)
