Hi All,
New to this forum and PRE. I am using PRE 7 to do a little wedding project which is about 90/10, 90% stills and 10% video.

I would like to recreate some of transitions that are in the InstantMovies. What is the best way to recreate the first effect in the "Outdoor Wedding Preview"? I would describe it as, 4x6 images floating to the front then fading out. It looks like you would specify a background image (or video) and place that on the Video 1 track. YOu use video track 2 for your images that will come forward. Then is it a matter of using the corner pin or some other effect to give it a little tilt? Or is there something else that gives the drop shadow look as the image(s) come forward?

The other effect I'm interested in learning about is from the "Pan and Zoom" movie. The image zooms out to a page of images in a grid then zooms in to a new image.

THanks for any help.

One thing you can do as a test is to apply the instant movie and then break it apart.
In breaking apart the instant movie you can see how the effects and transitions are used and how they work.
Here is a topic discussing the Instant Movies and breaking them apart for learning purposes http://muvipix.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=37492#p37492
