Hello all I am a new Photoshop user and this is my first post. I did run a search and did not find this question asked or answered. If this is old hat please forgive me.
What plug-ins are your most useful and indispensable:
[Best free plug-in], [ Elements Versions], [Mac], [ Pc]
[Best purchased plug-in], [Cost ], Elements Versions], [Mac] [Pc]
Thanks Butch

Hi Butch -
First of all welcome to the forum ... I think you'll enjoy your time spent here.
So many plug-ins, so little time. Probably the freebie I like best is the kaleidoscope filter available at http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/kaleidoscope.htm It's not the most practical tool, but is a bit of fun and provide some surprising results.
By far the set of plug ins I use most are Jodi Frye's Missing Styles. The set was in the $15 - $20 range and has a great complement of frames, drop shadows, bevels, glows and my favorite -- tints. Invaluable. You can contact her by pm for inquiries, click on members list at the top of the page.

Hi Butch ...
... and welcome to the forum :)
Well the ones I use the most are the free ones from Auto FX (DS Bonus) and some free Flaming Pear ones (both Mac & PC)
and bought ones ... Eye Candy and Auto FX Dream suite. (again both PC and Mac)
some of it does depend on what you use Elements for ... :)

Hi Butch ,
Check out this thread in the Helpful Links Section of this forum for Free Plug-Ins:
http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1356
My favourite would be .... Virtual Photographer ... see Jodi's post. Then there is also Auto-FX, Remove white, the Medhi Plug-Ins and ..... you get the idea ...
Have fun! :)

What, if any, is the closest equivalent to Virtual Photograher for the MAC?
Thanks

Hi Ron,
I am a Windows user, but perhaps Wendy or Ray(Carbone) or Carol could help you out. They are Mac users.
Hope one picks up on this thread. :)
