onone essentials

Hi,
having inst Vista + EL5+ Onone ess whenever i try the cut it out
plug in, Elem 5 crashes, all the other plug ins function ok, have
done the uninstall & reinstall + del the onone prefs file as described on their support page all to no avail.

I had the same problem with Cut it Out. I use XP and PSE v. 5. I called the tech support and got a very nice lady who tried to fix it. When she couldn't get it to work either, she gave me the full version of Mask or whatever it's called for FREE!

we will have to await a work around by the s/w manufacturer

Boater,
I think you maybe trying to cut it out on a background layer.
you must first change the background layer in a normal layer by double clicking on it.
Then you can start to cut it out and PSE will not crash.

thanks for your advice re this problem, i'm working on a
copy, the E/5 still crashes, & then sends an error report
to Microsoft

Hi Boater,
Sorry that this was no solution for you.
I have PSE 7 and working with cut it out on a normal layer
( no background copy !!!!! ) worked for me!
