Hello All-I recently purchased a combo PSE7/PRE7 and am attempting to make a slideshow from still clips. I transfered the clips from PSE 7 to PRE7 and attempted to install the clips in the sceneline while in the Organizer. The problem is all the clips are overely magnified. How do I get these clips to normal size? I performed this task with the trial version with no problems.
I was able to load 3 or four clips via the trial version and the rest of the clips loaded to the sceneline. The present copy required drag and drop for 4 or 5 clips and would not accept anymore. The slideshow will consist of 84 slides. Thanks.

Carl,
I am not completely focused in on this yet, but let us explore this together.
First, do you have two problems
1. Overly enlarged image viewed in the Monitor
and
2. The Sceneline not accepting any more than 3 or 4 photos?
First, I am assuming that you are aiming for your slideshow as DVD-VIDEO (standard 4:3 or standard widescreen 16:9) on a DVD disc.
With regard to the overly enlarged view in the Monitor:
Have you right clicked the Monitor, selected Magnification, and then set the Magnification accordingly (lowered magnification)?
What are the pixels dimensions of your photos? The pixel dimensions of each should not exceed 1000 x 750 pixels. This is especially important since you say you have at least 84 photos for this slideshow. You can batch resize, if necessary, in Photoshop Elements 7 (File/Process Multiple Files) or resize individually using the Photoshop Elements 7 Full Editor's Image/Resize/Image Resize dialog.) Remember to maintain the aspect ratio wanted, 4:3 or 16:9. Depending on what that resizing does to your photo view, you could look at Crop in Photoshop Elements 7 Full Editor, maybe using the Crop Tool option of Aspect Ratio: No Restrictions and setting for 4:3 or 16:9).

Also, what does this all look like in the Timeline view? Take a look to make sure all your photos are on Video Track #1. If somehow photos got to Video Track #2, those on Video #2 are not going to be seen in the Sceneline view.
Let us know if any of the above targeted your problems. If not, we will rethink the matter based on your forthcoming comments.

Hello ATR-Both problems existed. However,I right clicked on the monitor and saw the option to decrease the clip on the menu. Accepting only 4 or 5 clips was associated with the clip's oversize. I changed the pixel size also.
I made a slide show using stills via pse7/pre7 trial versions. However, banners stating that the slideshow was made from a trial version was placed on each slide. PSE7 maximum slide show duration is six minutes which means my 86 slide show allowed a max time of 6 seconds per slide. I have not been able to transfer text via pse7 to pre7. It disappears for some reason. I find it easier to enter text via pse7 than pre7. Why pre7 does't have baloon message templates?

First, regarding the watermarks in tryout Premiere Elements slideshows….take a look at this Premiere Elements 2 FAQ. This should work for Premiere Elements 7 as well.
http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bbdd471
Now about that text that is not transferring from Photoshop Elements 7 slideshow to Premiere Elements 7 Timeline:
a. What output option are you using to transfer the Photoshop Elements 7 slideshow to Premiere Elements 7 slideshow? Is it “Send to Premiere Elements”?
b. How are you creating the text in the Photoshop Elements 7: Are you adding captions in the Organizer (Edit/Add Captions) before the slideshow editor? Are you in the slideshow editor and adding text via Extra/Text right hand panel or are you adding text via Add Text in Options Bar at top of the slideshow editor interface?
Now for those Thought & Speech Bubbles
The following route offers some media that could be brought into Premiere Elements 7 for special occasions, but I did not see thought & speech bubbles. Check it out anyway via:
Get Media
Files & Folder
Computer
Local Disc
Program Files
Adobe
Premiere Elements 7
Presets
Logos (these are .png files)
OK, try this for getting Thought & Speech Bubbles into Premiere Elements 7 project as well as Organizer. In your computer, get to Local Disc,
Documents and Settings
All Users
Adobe
Photoshop Elements
7.0
Slideshow Graphics
Thought & Speech Bubbles (these are .png files)
Make one or more of the files and paste to Desktop.
Open Premiere Elements 7 project and bring these .pngs into Premiere Elements 7 project via Get Media. Even when you close the a specific project, a copy should stay in the Premiere Elements 7 Organizer for use in another project.
There are other possibilities, like adding copies of these files to the Logos section detailed above.
Let me know if any of this has helped.

(We could also talk about creating your own speech bubbles, but that is for another time.)
