Can't understand how to size for final print at standard paper sizes. I shoot digital images in as high a resolution as my camera will allow. After cropping I tried to re-size an image to print boarder to boarder on 4X6 paper stock and get an image with white boarders on either side. Help.

Does your printer have the ability to print borderless?

What are the exact steps that you take to resize the image?

Welcome to the Village!
The crop has to correspond to the desired print dimensions, or a ratio thereof. If your target is 4x6 and you want borderless prints, the crop should be 4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 2x3, or any other dimensions that result in a ratio of 1.5 when the larger dimension is divided by the smaller.

In the case of desired 5x7 prints, the crop ratio is 1.4; for 8x10 prints, the ratio is 1.25.
