Using Premier Elements 6.0 and have been unable to burn a dvd. I keep on getting an Error message: "Export Error, Adobe Premier Elements failed to return a video frame. Cancelling the Operation". Have been following all instructions to no avail. Have a Dell XPS with plenty of memory, both hard drive and ram. Please help. Thanks

There is no Premiere Elements 5 and 6, so I am guessing that you have Premiere Elements 4 or the latest version Premiere Elements 7.
Have you tried the "burn to folder" route, followed by burning the VIDEO_TS folder from the "burn to folder" with the software that came with your DVD burner?
Check out the following Adobe TechNote (Premiere Elements 4, but principles will hold for Premiere Elements 7 as well)
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402332&sliceId=2
Make sure that you are not taking any for granted re: your available RAM and free hard drive space, virtual memory configuration, computer optimization (degragmentation, etc)
Please describe in detail (formats, times) what you have on the Timeline and are trying to burn to disc as well as what you have set for Project Preset...ex. NTSC DV Standard.
To be continued............

Did you recheck the Timeline for gaps? Looking for all Timeline details to top the list.

Are there any still images/photos in your project? If so, what size are they?
Keep still images to around 1500 x 1000 and you will not have problems.

Maybe instead, not to exceed 1000 x 750 pixels and remembering to keep the aspect ratio of 4:3 for standard DVD.
