Monterey Cypress

Hi everyone

Here is my first attempt at before and after photos. THis photo was taken in July of this year at Cypress Point on the 17 mile drive in Monterey, CA. I have put up my Krypton shield so fire away. Your comments would be very much appreciated.

Also if you can give me hints on how to get the before/after pictures into the body of a posting I would like to try it.

Jim, I like it. You did a very nice job. I have almost exactly the same photo taken along that beautiful drive. Wish I was there now!!

I love the framing and presentation but I'd prefer to see the original image using that treatment. To my eyes, the 'after' image has lost too much detail and sharpness. Just my opinion, though...

I agree with you. By the time I changed the size and decreased the DPI it had lost a lot of it's zip. I shot it with a Nikon D80 and a Sigma Lens.

Thank you for the compliment. I took about 20 photo of the cypress from different angles. Yes, the drive it beautiful. I looked up the prices of some of the homes in that area for sale. The El Cheapo house was 35 million - GULP !!
