I'm new to the board and have searched quite a bit looking for a polkadot pattern. Does anyone have a polkadot pattern that they would be willing to share with me for my Christmas card? I haven't quite decided on the layout definitely so I'm looking for something that would allow me to change the size and color of the dots. All help is greatly appreciated!! Feel free to e-mail me at jenncarroll7@gmail.com

Hi Jenn & welcome to the forum,
You can easily make your own with Elements. Here's some instructions you can experiment with:
File > New > Blank File
Make dimensions 1” x 1” 72 resolution
Get Elliptical Marquee tool, hold Shift key and drag out a small circle selection in the middle of the square document.
Edit > Fill Selection > Use: Color – Choose color from Color Picker > OK
Ctrl-D to deselect
Now define your pattern with Edit > Define Pattern – give it a name > OK
Create another new document with dimensions of your choice, say 8” x 8” 300 resolution. Make the background a color if you want your dots on a colored background.
Now fill it with the dot pattern you just created: From the menu: Edit > Fill Layer > Use: Pattern – Click the dropdown arrow beside Custom Pattern. Your dot should be the last pattern in the pattern picker, double-click on it to select it. Then click OK and your page will fill with dots.
You can vary the size and/or color of the original dot. The more white space around the dot in your pattern document, the farther away the dots will be from each other. Just experiment and you can get all sorts of polka dots.
Have fun!
