Hi All,
After having my computer infected by a virus which resulted in me having to reformat the machine, on reloading my elements 5 disc the programme would not accept my 24 digit serial number, why would it accept it first time around but not now? Is my program no good to me now? Any ideas?
Take Care

It should still be a valid serial number, John. I might go through and make sure you've uninstalled all traces of Elements and start fresh with it as well.
Did you update to a new version of Windows when you reformatted your machine (like go from XP to Vista)?
If you were already running Vista, you might want to check these threads (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb401365&sliceId=1) on the Adobe site to see if your problem is addressed.
Maybe some others can offer advice as well.
best,
Rick

DJ,
Please to say that my Elements 5 is now downloaded and working, For some reason the serial number i had written down for safe keeping was one digit different from the serial number i had registered with adobe.........Its now corrected.
Thank you
John.
