PSE3 Organizer - lost in space

So, I make a copy of my subject and click to save in same version set with original. It does not show up there when the version set is unstacked. When I try to Get the copy, it says it's already there. Wherever these things are going, there are beaucoup of them out there, so watch out; if you find a file named Greek Trip05 136 copy_edited-2.psd, please send it back my way. Thanks. John

Hi John - so far the best reason I have heard to upgrade to PSE 4 is the improvements in the Organizer. Which version os PSE are you using?

Hi John,
I had a similar situation.
I went to start - search - all files and folders, entered the file name and found that I'd saved it to another location.
Give it a try, it may help.:)

Thanks, Mary and Kevin. Using XPPro. I had read that PSE4 dropped the "browser;" If this is the Photo Browser in the top marquee in the PSE3 Editor, I don't think I want to abandon it. I guess I need a trial version of PSE4 to see for myself. Nearly broke my fist pounding on the desk when the Album facet of a prior version struck an iceberg or something and took everything down with it. Can't see rebuilding a classification system for 2,500 pix. John
