I have been away from the forum for some time (busy using my newly learned skills will PSE3) so if you please can anyone inform me will PSE4 process or convert Raw photos taken with my new canon 1DMk11 N camera.
If I upgrade to PSE4 can I import the Earthbound effects like cures, layers mask etc.

Welcome back:

Q1: Yes (for both PSE4 and PSE3) but you'll need the Camera Raw 3.3 Beta that has just been released. See http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html

Q2: Probably not - some may but quite likely a number won't. One reason I'm sticking with PSE3 since many of the add-ins developed for PSE3 don't work with PSE4 although it's quite likely that they will become available at some time (maybe just in time for PSE5 ;) )

Thanks for your advice, guess I will stay with PSE3 for now however looking at some of the new features of PSE4 look really useful.
