Hi All, I have made a number of slide shows over the years that I have owned Elements without any problems. However, I have just returned from holiday and made a s/s of my pics. To my great disappointment some of the pictures refused to play on my DVD player (cannot show file). Can anyone shed any light on what I might have done wrong. It appears that the files that don't show are ones that I have "corrected" using Elements....

Details, please. Here is a sampling of what I am looking for:
1. What are you putting into this slideshow and how are you generating this slideshow that will not play on your DVD player?
a. Are you using Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements to produce a DVD-VIDEO or just Photoshop Elements to produce a VCD? What version of Photoshop Elements and/or Premiere Elements are you using?
b. What is your source, photos, jpegs??, video, format?? What is the pixel dimensions of your photos? Do they exceed 1000 x 750 pixels? How many photos went into this slideshow? What exactly do you mean by "..ones that I "corrected" using Elements..."?
c. If you created the slideshow in Photoshop Elements and sent it over to Premiere Elements, what Photoshop Elements output did you use? Did you create a .wmv version of your slideshow first or did you use the Send to Premiere Elements output option? If Premiere Elements is involved, what project preset did you use and what did the Preview before burn look like?
Could you restate exactly what you are facing?
a. You have a DVD-VIDEO of your slideshow. When you insert the DVD disc into the DVD player, you see a cannot play this type of file message.
b. You have a DVD-VIDEO of your slideshow. When you insert that DVD disc into the DVD player, the slideshow plays, but with some of the photos blacked out.
c.Other.
There are many different scenarios and possible causes. Details will guide us on the right troubleshooting path.
I will be watching for your details.
