HV30 Vista and Elements 4

Hi,
I'm just starting out I have a new dellXPS with Vista, Elements 4 and my new Canon HV30 is arriving in 2 days. Does anyone have experience with these all working well together? I'm hoping I don't have to upgrade to Elements 7 and or a different software all together. Any tips or warnings will be appretiated.

As far as I know, PSE4 does not run under Vista.

When I got my Vista laptop I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet that comes bundled with PSE5.02, which is the minnimum version supported on Vista.
