Anybody else having problems viewing pixentral links? Whenever I click on one my computer freezes and my browser automatically shuts down. At the moment I'm only looking at images that people have put up on imageshack.

I was just there in the past 30 minutes and had no problem with the images Wendy had posted.

I've had problems the last couple days. It doesn't freeze up but puts up a blank screen after quite a way. Usually it takes 2 or 3 clicks to get the picture showing.

Same thing here (on both Safari and Firefox) on my Mac. At times, it takes a few tries to get a picture to display.

I have had problems for over a week - no picture comes up - I refresh 3 or 4 times - sometimes the picture appears but not always. Ever since we were asked to change to a different browser to view his site I have had problems.

Oh dear ...

... I'm not having any problems at all but I use Camino (which is from Mozilla and they do Firefox as well) .. but Camino is a Mac only browser.

If the problems continues then I will have to shift all my links onto image Shack ... and that will be a fair sized job. If you don't mind I will give it another week or so before doing that ... and just hope that it settles down.

I do have another couple of tuts to post and they are Pixentral too :(

Guess I will have to keep my fingers crossed and hope that it gets better ... otherwise I am going to be busy.

Wendy, you should consider a .Mac if you use web space a lot. It's not that expensive for all the goodies if offers.

It integrates with your Mac (it becomes another drive) and is very easy to use. But, in case you'd need help.. I'll be there :)

I am so happy that it is not just me having problems with Pixentral.

Having said that, I can view the pictures in your post in this thread Wendy, but it seems to be a hit and miss thing. Sometimes I can see the picture and sometimes I can not. What is really strange is that in some instances, if a couple of links are posted ...... I can view one, but not the other. Rather frustrating.

Well I still can't view anything:mad: Sometimes half the picture loads but I can't scroll down to see the rest of it but the most frustrating thing is that when I click off the pixentral window my browser also closes down.

Hi ...

So sorry that you are all having problems ... I have taken a look at .Mac but the only part I would use would be putting images etc on it. So I am a little reluctant to subscribe.

I'll see how it goes and then maybe switch everything over to Image shack as and when I get time :(

So sorry that it is causing problems ...

Hi Wendy - have you communicated with the fellow that owns Pixentral? I thought you might have established an email relationship with him and he may have some ideas? I know he had some bad luck with a robbery.

I will try to contact him later today ... I hadn't thought of that.

Thank you :)

Umm ...

I have just noticed something ... this site used to print the URL in full but now it is shortening it so if I try to copy and paste it then it doesn't work. If I click on it then it does ... so can you try this for me.

Copy and paste this into your filebroswer and then remove the xxxfrom the start of it then see if it then loads:

Pasting in that url - removing the x's - it would not come up for me after 3 tries.:(

OK folks ...

... Good news :) :)

I just had a reply from Carlo ... he said that he thinks he has found the problem and fixed it !!!

Seems that no one else had told him to say that there was a problem. So Mary thank you for suggesting that I contact him.

Would someone like to test out the links ... please :)

Wendy,

A partial resolve of my problem .I can view the links (loved the cat - yours?), but then the pixentral window hangs & I get a 'not responding' error message. Then when I try to close the pixentral window it automatically closes my browser window:mad: Is it my computer? But I'm not having trouble with any other website just the pixentral one.

I'm going to bed now, but I'll close down the computer first and reboot in the morning - maybe it will have resolved itself by then.

Thanks for all the time & trouble you've taken - Goodnight

Wendy I don't have problems with Pixentral -- but if you decide to migrate your tutorials you might consider my site that is available also. I can change the expiration date off and see if that will suit the move.

You won't believe this but I'm having exactly the same problems with Pixentral as last week - it partially loads, then a 'not responding' error message & when I close the window it automatically shuts down my browser:mad:   Anyone else having problems again/still?

I can only view one of Wendy's photos (which is beautiful) but when I try the second one I get Daily bandwidth limitations for this picture have been reached. Please try again later.
What is the daily bandwidth limitation  and how do you know when you have reached it

I supect that Calo has introduced a bandwidth on images and it looks like this one has exceeded todays (probably because it is in this thread) ... I'll take the link out of the thread and email him to find out :)

Juergen ...

Please will you remove the link from you thread ... I think that some of the problem may be to do with people all clicking on the same one :)

Thank you
