Background:
Many of my Version Sets contain various crops from the same original that I like. I have over 200 Version Sets.

Questions:
How do I copy only the selected cropped photos that I like from all my Version Sets to a CD (without copying all the members of each version set)?

Is there any way to extract selected members of a version set back into the main organizer?

Thanks,

Ark

Hello,
I noticed you haven't gotten any response yet. I'm not an expert so what I suggest should be "taken with a grain of salt", if you know what I mean.
I'm not sure this is the most effecient solution, but I believe it might work for making your CD. You may be able to select the files you are interested in from the version set after 'revealling version set' and then see if you can export them to a new folder(from the FILE drop down menue), then write CD from that folder. If that doesnt' work, you may beable to create a collection from the selected files. Once in the collection, select those files and choose export from the FILE menu.
As far as extracting certain files from the version set with out taking the whole set apart, you could do a save as using a different but similar name and don't use the save in version set. This will give you a copy out of the version set, but if you are viewing chronologically in organizer, it will appear on the day you created it instead with the version set. If you save it in the same place as the others on the hard drive, it should show up if you view by folder.
One other thought, you might see if while viewing the version set and you select a file you want out, right click while your mouse is over the thumbnail and see if it gives you an option to remove from version set.
