For those that remember me - I am starting back into photography. Just had a good six month check-up for my colon rectal cancer surgery No. 2. The surgeon told me it was very advanced when I got diagnosed and he is so happy that I am back to the gym and feeling great. He said that is what he works for. I now have CS3 and Lightroom 2.1. I kept getting new programmes thinking it would peak my interest again. Now I have so much to learn including using my DSLR on other than P. In a way I am starting again. Winter is coming and I hope to have lots of time to learn. I am also a member of NAPP but I will try to pop over to this forum too. It is here that I learned all I know. It is here that I got so involved in creating that my husband had to make many dinners! There have been a lot of changes in both cameras and software since I started down this road in 2005. I have overcome both breast and colon cancer. I try to appreciate every minute of every day. Photography is going to be a big part of that. Thanks for all the support that came my way when I needed it.

Oh, you will have so much fun with the camera in creative modes! I have only had mine since August and it has been an everyday thing to pick it up and go into the yard for yet another photo of a rose....or hummingbird....or praying mantis.....

I hope you continue to grow strong and follow your passion in photography and learning computer software to play with those photographs!

Hi everybody,
Thank you SO much for the wonderful comments. You make me feel special. For some reason I did not get e-mail notification so I just saw them. I am a bit mixed up about the gallery here. I still have my signature 'my new hobby' and my old gallery comes up there. I have only posted two on this new gallery system. Can someone please tell me how to change my signature or what I would do to bring up a new gallery here?? I'm off to the gym but will check in later. Again - thanks.

Take a look at the top of this page - on the right can you see 'How to use the forums'? Click on it and you'll find a couple of videos by Mike (mrod) one of which is all about setting up a gallery.
