TAG IOW ending the week of October 26th.
Wow, this was challenging. I really enjoyed looking at everyone’s photos, and narrowing down the selection wasn’t easy. I hope I chose well!
The following is just my humble opinion; I’m not a pro, but I tried to give some reasons for why I liked each photo. They're all so good though...
Dales – Houseboat
I love the rustic look, and what dales did with the colours and texture. Overall a very simple beauty was achieved.

Deborah – Red Rockets
A nice, tight macro shot, sharp image, subtle retouching that lets the eye be drawn to the red tail lights.

Sepiana – Three
This shot is very dynamic. I like the three lamps, and that it’s shot portrait style. The border along the ceiling/wall provides a leading line, along each lamp and to the far corner. I also liked the colors.

Peder Winge – Entrance to the Great Leap
Peder had a lot of good, ‘concept’ images this week. Close ups of architecture, looking at the same thing in different ways. This was my fave of his – leading lines, solid balanced composition, and what a great title.

I have to give the grand prize to tnwaltz for Leaves and Acorns
This one was my favourite. What can I say? It’s seasonal, vibrant, and the apparent simplicity makes it a complex shot. I love how the gold and red leaves in front appear to be falling, and how the acorns beg for attention, too.

Again, this was great, and I've 'passed the torch' for next week's IOW!
