Mt Hood & The Autumn Folliage

I planned & executed a 175 mile motorcycle ride around Mt Hood, OR today in absolutely beautiful weather. It's rare when the skies are clear above the mountain as it seems to provide its own weather. The Fall folliage is close to peaking so I couldn't turn down the opportunity to capture perfect photographic conditions.

Spectacular shots Bob!

Yesterday DH and I planned a 45 minute bicycle ride in the Carnation Valley. I got my camera out to take my first picture, when I discovered that the card was home in my computer! No pictures, but a very nice ride anyway. And fall will come again next year!

SharLamb: Here in Oregon the weather forecast for tomorrow is supposed to be even better than today. It's not a matter of whether I will ride again tomorrow but where I will ride. :)

Ah yes indeed it was windy. Since I took I84 to Hood River I was nearly blown off the interstate.

Bob, great shots. The clarity, exposure and detail are amazing. Reminds me of results from the old box cameras with the the tilt backs.
