Help needed with Text size

Here I am again (Thank God for ElementsVillage!) with an issue where I am sure that I am missing something small, however, can't seem to figure out exactly what! I am having problems when I attempt to enter text into a text box on my photos. Sometimes the text size is fine and seems to appear the font size that I have chosen. Other times,(here comes the issue)the text is so small I can't even see what I am writing and yet the font size is set to a large font. Not sure what setting I have changed or what not. I reset all tools but to no avail. Any other now-experienced Photoshop users that can fill the newbie in on what lil mistake I have made???? :rolleyes:

Check the resolution of the various documents you enter text in. The resolution will change the viewable size of the the text.
12 pt will appear larger on a 300 dpi document and smaller on a 100 dpi document.
You can try this by typing on both a 100 and 300 dpi document.

Hi,

The resolution of the image you are adding the text to may affect how small or large the text appears. What do you consider a "large" sized font? What resolution is the image you're typing on?
