Need Advice on a Source

Does anyone here have a source for custom printed promotional items they know and trust. Our church has asked me to design and find a source for printing quantities of a custom refrigerator magnet including a 2009 calendar and our church information. There are a lot of them out there on the net, but I hate to just pick one not knowing if they are trustworthy.

Any input would be appreciated.

Have you considered a local source? Our yacht club had calendar magnets printed several years ago and a local sign/magnet business had a competitive price. The fact that they were local also made them easier to work with.

Hi, Diana. I'll have to echo Mario's advice. Check the yellow pages in your community. I used to do conference planning and ordered lots of promo stuff. To be able to see samples of the finished work and have a local person help with orders, issues, etc. is invaluable.

Mario and Val, that's a good idea - I'll check out the yellow pages! I didn't really think about a smallish city like the one I live near having a business that does this. I certainly will investigate. Thanks for the idea, and the good wishes, Val. I'll let you know how I come out.
