Karin Sue this is a great card. The inside is just a little to bright for me. Can you try a color a little more muted and see what that looks like? But just the same i really like what you did.

Karin,
You really brought that photo to life. I love the colors on the front of the card. As to the inside, have you thought about using the same colors as the front, but reversing them? White background, bluish text, etc. I'm no expert, mind you, I'm just reacting to the image.

Karin, I agree about the inside color. Any other more muted green would fit better.
My only suggestion is to duplicate the photos (not the frame) and change the mode to screen at 100%.
Then you can apply a little Curves (if you have it) or levels adjustment, or apply an additional screen at 20%.

Thanks for the comments, sorry it took so long for me to respond.
The inside green is a bit bright, but this wedding was in the 1960s.;) Actually it was her 45th anniversary not the 40th so that makes it 1963. The outside frame was originally supposed to be a yellow to match the dresses but it printed out an extremely ugly greenish yellow. I was running out of time so I just went to blue. (I designed on one computer and printed on another-I usually don't see such a difference in screen & print)
This was a last minute project. The night before my mom left to join my aunt on the cruise a friend who knows my aunt stopped by and we got out the wedding pictures to show her. Looking the photos I realized "Hey, I was part of the wedding party and I am not going on the cruise!" out of which came the card concept--which works particularly well since I am the pouty little flower girl in front on the inside photo. If I had been thinking ahead I would have made it this summer and gotten all the flower girl cousins to sign it at the family reunion.
Then I spent an hour trying to get the scanner to work. (I no longer use auto-update on my psc) Once scanned I had limited time to get the card made since I was also finishing up a birthday card for another aunt who was going on the trip.
There was some concern that the card could hurt feelings. This was not an issue. There was never a possibility of the flower girls going. My aunt and the rest of the cruisers got a big kick out of the card. They all had a great time.
