Newbie using PSE6. I want to make a simple (no frilly decoration) book of vacation photos, including significant text boxes and captions. Would appreciate help with some questions:
- What is the difference between a Photo Book and a multi-page Collage?
- It seems like a photo book helps me create a finished, bound end product, as long as I use the Kodak website. However, I seem constrained to certain page sizes and formats. True?
- A collage lets me control page size, but it is then up to me to figure out best way to assemble the pages into a book. True? Any ideas here? Plastic sleeves holding 8x10s in a looseleaf binder looks like one way. 8.5x11 punched for a binder is another, but how do I print 8.5x11 without wasting print area?
- Am I correct that a collage should be created with 'standard' print dimensions, like 5x7 or 8x10?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

A photo book can be a layout of one or more photos and descriptive copy.
A collage is a compilation of photos on one page, usually with some decorative borders and such with or without copy.
If you make enough collages you can have them bound into a book.

Perhaps you should visit these sites at to what can be done in the way of photo books, or if you want pages printed.
This should help you understand. Post back if you need any additional help.

Yep. A collage would just be a number of images placed onto a page. A photobook is a bunch of pages, collage style or otherwise, bound into a book. Another option is MyPicTales or Shutterfly for creating books. MyPicTales is nice because you don't have to be online to work on your books.
