Hi,
I am using Elements 6 and am trying to create an image with a lot of text and don't want a giant block that is really wide. Is there an option to create text boxes with 2 columns or have text flow from one text box to another?

Nope. You'll have to line-by-line add those if you want something like that.

You can drag out two text boxes to form columns, but the text will not flow between them.
Select the text tool, click where you want the upper left of the first column, then drag down to the right bottom corner. When you enter text into the box it will wrap all the way down to the bottom.
Drag out a second column to match. I would suggest turning on the grid to help create your two columns boxes.

Hey, Jeff, that's a great tip. You learn something new around here every day. I just tried it out and it works like a charm. thanks a lot.

Hey that works great and I will use that tip for sure. I didn't know you could make a text box in elements.

Here's how I do it:
First I generally type out my text in Word & copy it, then in PSE I drag out a text box and paste the text into it. It won't all fit in and there will be a little plus sign in the bottom right corner which alerts you to this fact.
Next I select highlight my text and do Ctrl+Shift+J which is a way of justifying all the text. Then switch to the move tool, hold down the Alt key and the Shift key and drag a copy text box to the right leaving a small space in between. Next highlight the repeated text in the copy text box and delete it. You'll find the rest of the text that wouldn't fit into the original text box will now spill over into the second text box, although you might have to do a bit of juggling around to even up the text so it matches.
