Help doesn't open

My help on Photoshop Elements 3 doesn't open.
I removed PE3 and reinstalled it and that didn't do it.
Any ideas of how to restore my 'help'.

Hi there,

Are you using a Mac or Windows ... and which OS?

In the meantime I would try deleting the prefs file:

To do that close down Elements then click on the start up icon and quickly hold down the Control, Alt and Shift keys (If you are a Mac user Apple, Alt and Shift). Continue to hold down all three keys until you get a screen asking if you want to delete Settings ... just say Yes.

Just a thought if you are using a Mac, some users have reported problems it seems that help doesn't work from non-administrative accounts. You can either switch to an admin account or go to macosxhints.com and search on "photoshop elements 3" to get the terminal commands you need.

When you click on hellp, it should sow it on your task bar but when you click on it, nothing is there. Do a right click and choose maximize and it should load the help....

I just had the same problem today. Hold down the CRL, Alt, & Shift Key and click on the Help. Say okay to delete the help files.

:D It will fix whatever is wrong. I tried the Repair the program in the Add Remove and this didn't work so I did the above. Worked first time.
I got this from the Adobe support site.
