can't install Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0

Can somone help??? I had no trouble installing Photoshop Elements 7.0 but can't even get a screen up when I put Premiere Elements 7.0 in the DVD rom. It will install on my laptop so it's not the DVD. I suspect it's some "block" but have no idea what... HELP!!

Are you sure the "autoplay" feature is turned on? You've eliminated the "bad cd" possibility so that's the only thought that comes to the forefront of my experience.
