grey brushes

hello

no matter what color i choose from the color picker "or whatever it's called) it is always grey when i try to paint with it in a new image. When I open an existing image and try to paint there is no problem:mad:

no need to answer... i've found out myself... when i made a new image the problem was that it was set to greyscale instead of RGB...
