No, this isn't for the program, PSE. I love it, have a few wishes, but so few they do not bear mentioning.

However, my wish is this:

Digital-only Subscription option for overseas subscribers.

I was a subscriber for two years, and loved loved loved it. However, time to renew came 'round, and, well, I saw that NAPP offered a 'digital-only' option for receiving the magazine. This means that my overseas subscription price is actually manageable (same as U.S. residents, because there is not overseas mailing fees). So, I went with NAPP this year (only a little less than PSE User for overseas subscribers after using a discount coupon from retailmenot.com).

Napp is serious and professional. However, as I am slightly more 'fun' and a tad less 'professional' , I really miss the tuts here at PSE.

So, please hear my plea for the digital-only option for overseas subscribers. While the magazine is great, I would even forgo it altogether just to get the videos.

I have not subscribed based primarily for the reasons you mentioned, so if your wish comes true, then the gods that be will get at least a double return for their efforts. Let sense prevail.

Support you in this. My sub is now too expensive to renew this year. I hope someone's listening!

We are listening, and would like at some point to offer a digital-only subscription for overseas folks. I do understand that it's prohibitively expensive for many people, but the extra costs are associated with getting the magazines overseas (which also takes longer :(). We're just not set up for it right now, however.

I'll ask the question, though - if we priced an overseas digital subscription at the same price as a domestic U.S. subscription ($59/$99), would people feel that was fair?

Rick I was a hold out who saw the Light and subscribed, and although I am patiently waiting for the first mag, I would like to say up front that the fact that you provide (Electronically) all the old editions is more than worth the money I paid, I was silly for holding back I should have trusted all the members that raved about the Mag/PET benefits. So if you do that I understand your constraints but please don't make it a one flavour suits all, as I will still want the Magazine, and will be resubscribing (Assuming I am still alive in two years time)

Thanks for a great deal and the great stuff I am fighting through in the back issues, I Love It!

Hi ...

The funny thing is that despite the extra cost I much prefer a paper magazine to a digital one ... in fact when NAPP were looking to change overseas to digital only I considered, because of that, if I wanted to renew my subscription.

Thankfully they decided to offer a digital subscription and a paper one ... that made me happy as I could still have my magazine :)

I feel that I spend enough time in front of the computer and just prefer to relax and read my magazine.

Wendy :)

Being from the USofA I have never heard the word Strine before.

It must be something related to Brits and Aussies :o

Gee Charles, coming from a Country that has been known as Non-Drinkers almost entirely I thought I would be forgiven for not KNOWING what G&T was! Ha Ha.
As for Strine it is a slurring of the term "Australian English" from the sixties when a big deal was being made how " were "WE" murdering the English Language, like you Yanks Have!
To speak it you need to be able to pronounce things such as
"DJAAVAGUDWEGEND" (Did you have a good weekend) or understand terms like, "He's got a Kangaroo loose in the top paddock" (He is a bit doolally), I hope this clears up all your confusion Charles.
And don't forget "AVAGUDWEGENDONFOGETDAEROGARD'

When we offer a digital-only overseas subscription, we will still offer the paper option. I can't see that being a problem, at least for the foreseeable future.

As I always say, remember that there are only a couple of us here at P.E.T. World Headquarters (also known as my basement, and the very small office where Cindy works ;)), and, as hard a we try, we can only do so much in a day. My top priority is making sure we offer great stuff in the magazine and on the Web site, so we have happy subscribers who want to keep subscribing.

And Don't Forget the Aero Gard!
Waving away flies in Australia is known widely as the Great Australian Salute, as opposed to the Great Australian Bight, which is where some conman from down-under tries to get you to pay for a New Nikon D300s for him to use, believe it or not there are people like that, Hope you never meet one.
You must think that I'm a sandwich short of a picnic!

Smile when you send me the cheque,
Ron

Sounds reassuring Rick, but we know than in reality yours is a vast Corporate Empire with thousands slaving away to fullfil the demands of the teeming masses. From what I have seen Cindy needs a pay rise! Now.
