Is there a way to upload a slideshow made in PSE 7 to Photoshop.com? Our last family trip slideshow came out great, but emailing and/or sending disks just seems to be too much of a problem. ANy suggestions?

I don't think you can do that but you can put the slides into an album and put that on Photoshop.com as a slide show for sharing.

I do not know the real answer, but, after checking out the details for Photoshop.com, I think that it might be doable to upload a Photoshop Elements 7 slideshow to this site for storage with a lot of "depends" tagged on....

The above does mention storage of photos and video.

I am not sure if we are talking about a .wmv version of the slideshow or something else. And if .wmv, what file size?

There are two video tutorials on Photoshop.com over at Learning Center at http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com, but they demo uploading an album.

But, it looks like the Basic offering of Photoshop.com will not get you too far if you are going to be uploading video with "DVD quality". I think that "DVD quality" must mean video with frame size 720 x 480 pixels???

Maybe the next Photoshop Elements 7 video tutorial over at http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com will deal with that, although the absence of "video" related content over there is strikingly absent.

ATR: You're right - I didn't check but I see that it will handle video files - but sounds like only for back-up/sharing not playing on line.

Q: Does Photoshop.com work with my video files as well as photos?
A: You can upload video files from the Photoshop Elements 7 or Premiere Elements 7 organizer to Photoshop.com, and you can download video files anywhere using a web browser, and view them on any video player that handles the file type. In the online organizer at Photoshop.com, video files are designated with a filmstrip icon. At present, video editing is not one of the features of Photoshop.com, but we anticipate that it will be one of the features requested by our customers for future additions. Stay tuned!

From another FAQ:

Using your installed copy of Photoshop Elements 7 or Premiere Elements 7, you can upload any or all of the file formats supported by those applications, including raw, TIFF and PSD images and AVI video files. You can download copies of any files stored at Photoshop.com, regardless of format, using your web browser, Photoshop Elements 7, or Photoshop Elements 7.

Photoshop.com will allow you to backup and download video file formats, but playback is limited at this time, and that prevents you from being able to share your videos, as you can your photos.

Note that things change frequently on Photoshop.com, and support for video may be one of those things that changes soon...:rolleyes:

And, to close out the Slideshow question, while PS.com currently doesn't support the sharing of Video, it does support the sharing of Albums through very cool interactive Online Albums. There are a couple of sharing templates if you just use PS.com, but if you use Photoshop Elements 7 to post your Albums, there are many more templates to choose from. Most of them have integrated Slideshow capability.
