It should be so simple, yet I have been sitting here for over an hour trying to copy various folders containing image files onto a CD. Can anybody help me ?
Thanks,
Guenter

If your folders have too many subfolders they might not copy. At least that's been my experience so far.

Doesn't your PC have a program on it like Roxio Creator that you can use to select folders and subfolders until you reach the max size for the CD, then hit the burn button?
If you're already doing that, then what is your question, specifically?

Thanks for your quick responses.
I could use my burner software (Deepburner), but it is flaky, thought it would be easier to copy the folders using PSE.
Thanks again.

My experience is with v2 (haven't done this in 5 yet).
If I burn from Organizer it closes the cd. If I export to the cd folder Organizer takes over and burns and closes the cd. This doesn't allow adding multiple folders or explanatory text files.
My preferred method: I chose the items I want to copy and apply a tag or collection. Then I select and file>export to a "to burn" folder somewhere on my harddrive, possibly into subfolders, often with renaming to a common base name (definitely if I have a collection order to preserve). I may add a readme.txt or other file. Then I drag the contents of my "to burn" folder to my cd folder and let Windows burn it to cd. Then I trash the "to burn" folder.

Guenters,
If you have found your solution, that is great.
If not, please supply the following information, and I will try to offer a suggestion for your consideration:
1. What is your operating system, Window XP, Vista (if Vista, what version of Vista)
2. What is the burn software that came with your DVD/CD writer?
3. Where are the folders now:
a. just saved to hard drive location
b. saved to hard drive location and saved to Organizer in Album
c. saved to hard drive location and just saved to Organizer
4. How many subfolder levels do you have? Is it one main folder with maybe 4 or 5 subfolders in that main folder, each subfolder with files??
My understanding is that you have Photoshop Elements 6. Is that correct?
In Photoshop Elements 6, you can burn with a multisession option. To get at it, in the Organizer:
Edit Menu/Preferences/Files
and then check "Enable Multisession Burn to CD/DVD"
