I think all photos should be framed. Framing should add to the pleasure of the viewer, pulling everything in the composition together. I was toying with using the photo itself for part of that frame and came up with this. What do you think?

I like the idea. I might like it with the frame a little darker even...more contrast? Gorgeous photo, BTW.

LOL, forgive me for laughing because I posted this same photo on another photography forum & got the exact opposite response, asking that I lighten the frame. It shows me that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yours is appreciated & noted. :)
The vote is now 2 for lightening the frame & one for darkening.

That's funny! Isn't it wonderful to have software that allows us to experiment so easily? Imagine all the work that would take with scissors and rulers! This is one of those "I love Elements" moments! Shar

I've used Photoshop since version 4. I just deleted it and Elements 6 off my laptop. I'm hooked on Elements 7 and all it can do. I wish I knew how to use 10% of its capabilities.
