Is there a way in Elements to get rid of sunspots that appear in photos?
Here's the picture, and i have few others like this too. http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1Ii3cAkB0xowSwcmd5XwNKtUwM01 Can it be fixed?

Hi...
This photo will be tough to fix... The way to remove these areas would be using the clone and healing tools. But there are areas of detail affected that will be hard to replace.
Eliminating the glare when taking the photo is the safest way... shield the lens with your hand or use a hood. Not much help now though I know.

I agree with Mike on both points. Work on a copy and see if you like it. I don't mind the flare to tell you the truth and in elements some times we even put a flare in the picture that wasn't there.

Hi there,
I agree with Mike & Pauline ... that one would be tough to fix. You could try cropping the image to take some of it out and the cloning the rest.
As Pauline said though we often use Elements to add them :)

I would just add..
Select the sky with magic wand, contiguous unchecked.
Using Grants tools, bring up selective color.
Choose white.
Move the sliders to adjust the sky.
