hi' all from Edinburgh.
can someone help pls.
I had a major crash last week-end and more or less lost all my progs. I have managed to get it all back and working, with one real prob.
I have lost all Mark Galers films from his Elements 6 Max Performance disk.
when I try to install the disk, all I get on the films (all of them) is a Blue box and the sound. Any ideas what i can do or will i have to buy another one.
I have not tried the disk on any other computer.
sitting waiting on any reply.
TIA.

Did you reinstall Quicktime? The DVD may require it to play.

Usually when you click something that needs a helper program to run you get a message asking you do download this newer version. The problem you may be having is its more then this. Since you are actually going backwards and the updates are way out of date you probably have to go in manually and download them.

Quicktime
Java
Windows Update
Adbobe Reader
Flash Player

You get the idea...
