I had been using a self-sticking screen protector for my Canon XSi but I was not really happy with it as there were 'some' bubbles in it. The first one I applied I did a horrible job on it, but the 2nd time I did much better, but there were still a very few bubbles in the screen.
I just found a new (to me) LCD Screen Protector at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EHAVMA). I ordered it last Sunday night, and it arrived today! This is a huge improvement! No more bubbles!
They have many different sizes to fit most dSLR and P&S cameras. You have got my recommendation!
