Playing around with the scene cleaner in PSE7 and it really is pretty clever at what it does. I had these two images taken a minute or so apart and our dog wandering across didn't do much for the picture of fall colours reflected in the lake so she had to go.

Opened them up in the scene cleaner. A few pencil strokes around the dog and she was gone. It really does a good job of aligning and blending - I did add a little extra blue to the sky using a blue/transparent gradient layer set to darker colour - much the same as the Blue Sky Smart Brush does it although I did it the old-fashioned way.

I can think of some more uses for it - maybe multiple exposure blending - going to have to experiment some more ...

Tony, this is impressive; you made me a believer of the Scene Cleaner. Beautiful image! Hope you didn't hurt your dog's feelings!:)

Nice job Tony! I am undecided yet if I will get PSE7, but if I do, I will wait until I can get the CD version.

Nice job, Tony. Looks like a great tool. I broke down and ordered 7 last night.

Tony, that is some nice work, both the shot and the rework,, how many steps would you say it took for the rework to remove the dog and clean it up,,??

Really only two steps (open the files and run the scene cleaner) and the whole thing just took a couple of minutes, The scene cleaner basically does everything for you. No rework, no clean up was needed in this case.
