Hey all!

I tried a search with this title but couldn't find anything that answered my question...

I have some brushes that I've created that I want to share with a friend of mine. Just thought I'd email her the brush file and she could save it to her brushes folder. Doesn't seem to work that way though.

I know there has got to be a way because I have added many an .ABR extension file.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks so much!!
Susan

Hi Susan ...

When you saved your brushes did you save them through the preset manager?

... and which version of PSE do you have and which version does your friend have?

Generally brushes can be used by the same versions but there can be some incompatability with earlier version.

Do let us know the details and we try to help :)

Hey Wendy!

I have PSE3. I'm not sure which version my friend has. She may have the full PS application, but still not sure which version.

Yes, I saved them through the Preset Manager. I don't see where each brush is saved individually though, just as a pallete. Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Hi there ...

The brushes do save as a palette ... its really just a set of brushes with the individual ones inside. It could be that your friend has a old version of Photoshop or there could be a problem with the file itself.

If you want me to check them for you then send me a pm with your email address and I will send you an email :)
