Howdy folks , new to this so I thought I would ask a question.
I am interested in purchasing a wireless remote for my sony alpha a350.
Has any one purchased one ? Any positives or negatives?

Thanks

Roger

Roger, I have a Nikon D80 and use a remote shutter release for macro photography when the camera is mounted on a tripod almost all the time. Vibration is greatly reduced. As far as I am concerned, it's the only way to go. Wireless remotes can also be used for firing flash, etc.

I have the Sony A100 and ended up buying a wireless remote on ebay rather than paying a much higher price for "Sony"

Have used it a number of times under different conditions/locations with no problems. Consider it a must take alongon my outings along with the tripod
