View Full Version : A Triptych Frame? Why not?

Hi everyone,
I got this crazy idea late last night. Instead of creating 3 panels, I created a 3-panelled frame, inserted an image underneath, and ... voila! ... a triptych. Now, when I get bored with this image, all I have to do is slide another image under it.

That's great!! I really like the way you did it. It is high up on my list of things to do. I haven't gotten to it yet...ha-ha!! Did you make the frame?
How was your vacation?

Hi Mary Lou, thanks for the nice comment!
Yes, I made the frame myself. When I first made my acquaintance with PE4, I developed this "addiction" to frames. I'd spend hours googling frame tutorials. I believe I have more frames in "My Pictures" than I have photos.:D:D
Here's one of the websites I used for the tuts: http://www.insidegraphics.com/frames/default.asp
Yes, we had a very nice vacation. It was an impromptu one, decided on the spur of the moment. Sounds romantic? We spent two weeks hiking in the West; we immersed ourselves as much as possible in the wilderness, abstaining from the delights of technological civilization. Only a couple of times, I gave in, and answered "The Call of the Village!:):)

Are there more pics of your vacation coming?
Thanks for the link for the frame tuts. If you have more and you would like to share them I would love to see them. :)

I like it! (& I like the photo...love that area of the USA). I'd like to try making a dimensional frame. Maybe when I get back home and am on my own cpu. I'm using my DD's cpu this week, and have none of my own stuff. Or maybe someone will have come up with a tut for dimensional frames by then.

1. - yes. We took a lot of photos. I still have to finish uploading them; some came out really good; some are going to the Recycle Bin. I'm not a good photographer, nor is my husband.
2. No problem. I'll develop a list and post it in the "Helpful Links" category. But be warned, it's extremely addictive. Just between you and me ( and all the other Villagers) -- I used to go stores and run to the photo frame area, to get ideas for frames; then, I'd come home and try to duplicate them. BTW, I've just tallied how many frames I've made -- over 50.:D

WOW!! We should list all of our PSE addictions and see how long that thread is!! There just aren't enough hours in the day to do all of the Photoshopping.
Thanks for making up the list and posting it.
