Once again, I have accepted this challenge and have been left with a feeling of great disappointment that I could not pick & honor all of the wonderful pictures submitted this week. I narrowed my final choices down to 25 but had to revise my final figure to the number presented herein.
Vawitt (September Sunrise) Beautiful use of very few color tones. Framing set this picture off.

nkevers (After the Rain) The sharpness & capture of the rain drop in contrast w/the rest of the picture makes this unique.

Ron Grant (Flight) The capture of the subject & the technique used to present the picture made this picture stand out.

MOOSE (Copper Birches) The simplicity, sharpness & color detail moved me. http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/files/1/8/7/3/2/the-copper-birches.jpg (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/files/1/8/7/3/2/the-copper-birches.jpg)
Byron Gale (Balk Eagle) The technique used to ‘freeze’ this beauty created one of those ‘moments in time’

My Choice for Image of the week is::::
GardenGal (sweet dreams) Beautifully brought together complimentary components. Having grandchildren, I may have been swayed here.
