The first one is Digital Scrapbooking 4 from Simple Scrapbooks. $6.99 and has great information and inspiration as well as special access to free downloads from severl digital sites on the web.
The second one is Scrapbooking Answers. $7.99 and it comes with a DVD that includes tutorials, 71 fonts, printable images and the magazine is full of ideas and instructions. Mostly for traditional scrapbooking but easily adapted to digital. This is just the second edition and the new one is due on the newstands Nov 22.
I found both at Borders Book store. :)

I have digital scrap booking 3 and have looked for a new issue for quite a while. Has it just come our recently? Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll have to go check our local drug store later today after their magazines come in.

Hi Pauline
It is very new on the newstands - I think Nov 13 was the release date.
It might be fun for some of us to pick something in the magazine and all try it and then share our efforts. (as I sit here with a list of todo's that won't quit already). Everything I have learned in digital scrapbooking has really helped me with using PSE for the regular things I do. :)

Just checked our drug store and it's not out yet. Probably won't be for the next couple of weeks but now I know to watch for it. Thanks for the heads up. I have enough to do anyway.

I'm very excited to say I have a layout in the Digital Scrapbooking 4 magazine. It's "Bittersweet Memory" by Tricia Kennedy. The magazine is filled with great ideas, inspirations and information. A must buy!
I just picked up Scrapbook Answers and am very impressed! Fun new magazine with lots of info!

good for you Tricia. While I'm not into scrapbooking, there are still a lot of great ideas that can be used for projects, so I will be looking forward to getting it.

Page 71 - I found it! Congratulations Tricia!! A double page and although it could have been a very sad thing to do - you made it a celebration of who John Ritter was.
Congratulations again - another PET member published! :)

Mary.... what do you do with your scrapbook pages? Do you print them??

I do print some and I also create slide shows of the pages (I use ProShow Gold) and give them to the family on DVD's. I also create some cardstock pages and then assemble the pictures and elements that I create in PSE onto the cardstock. I also print and make all our greeting cards - that really is a form of digital scrapbooking too.
I am starting our annual calendars for the family and they are printed digital scrapbook pages of pictures taken during the year.

Hi,Pauline! Check out this site-www.scrappersguide.com-it's run by Linda Sattgast, who writes for the PET magazine. She has an online newsletter, and each month posts some neat projects and good downloads. It works out to about 2.50 cdn/month.This month there are tutorials to show how to do a double page spread, aand fancy papers, etc.Worth a look!(Raffy is standing in for me in my avatar-he looks much better in red than me!)(Ho,ho,ho!)

Hi Pauline - amazing thing happened. My avatar retroactively populated all my previous posts!:o I thought I was just testing it in one little spot. Also it is tiny and when you reach my age you know you better look as good as you get because age reversal just isn't going to happen!;)
(I have since changed my avatar - being the only one with a picture of themselves was too scary)

Hi,guys!
If you have digital cable or satellite, next Wednesday on call for help tv,there will be a feature by someone called Paula Jones on travel scrapbooking. If you can't get it,go to the website and look up episode #157,and go to the shownotes-she gives a step-by-step breakdown on how to put many small photos on a 4x6.
This is a really good show for all things technical, and each week they do 3 or 4 segments on either photoshop, with Alex Lindsay from pixelcorps,or sometimes Greg Danbrook on Elements.
A couple of times, they had on Mike Hogue, who created a really neat site called jinx the black cat (.com).It's got a great animated cat on it,and he's shown how to do simple flash animations.Really cool!Hope this is of some use. ttfn

Hi I am new to here but an avid digital scrapbooker who is looking on how to do more with PSE4. If you can't find the Digital Scrapbook magazine, you can go to to the Simple Scrapbooks magazine site and they sell it (also publish it). You can get the latest version plus their past issues (of which I personally think are better). Here is a quick link to get there: http://www.simplescrapbooksmag.com/shop/category.ihtml?idx=186

I started in August of this year after doing paper style layouts for 7 years. I absolutely love it and have really love the ability I have to create any kind of layout I only dreamed about before. I first came here when I purchased PSE3 and then got involved with my layouts. I now have PSE4 and a great digital slr and want to learn how to make the most of my layouts and photos that I can. So I came back here again......
