Just got back on Wednesday from a fabulous two weeks on Lake Garda, Italy. Tried to capture the essence of the lake with this panoramic view.

Pretty close. I was just today struggling with a panorama and ran into similar problems. Your image needs a 0.5° rotation to the right. You also have a bit of a barrel effect. I tried to compensate for it with the Pinch filter.

Great shot, though!

Juergen, here is another attempt. I think this is a bit better. I had to cut a fair bit off the right hand side after straightening.

Juergen, the photo was taken from the terrace of the Lido International Hotel, Desenzano. You can see the terrace in the third photo down on this page (http://www.lido-international.com/hotel_uk.html).

Thanks, George. We stayed at the Park Hotel http://www.gardalake.it/park-hotel/ and never had that fine panorama as it was hazy / foggy almost all the time. We still enjoyed it, though.
