I found this on another forum, and added a pencil sketch of my twin grandsons. It is in my EV gallery.

This is the website for downloading the frame.

Thanks Rivers. I had to go through several pencil sketches before I found one that looked right.

What a great idea! Suzanne, thanks for sharing it.

Thank you! So cool to use for a birthday card or thank-you note...especially for kids.

I couldn't see how to download it, so I right clicked on it, copied image, and pasted it onto a transparent new document, then saved as a png file, (tagging it of course, to give credit to escrappers.com if I ever post it anywhere).

You'll notice that it has escrappers on the bottom of the frame.

Just went back to escrappers.com and found the download link. It's in the middle of the page, under #2.

edit: here's that link:

wonder what's up. All that appears on my screen is the picture of the etch-a-sketch...no #2....nothing to scroll to. There's nothing else even when I zoom out. But as I figured out an alternative, it's okay. And no, I hadn't noticed the escrappers.com on the frame before. I'll probably still list the credit.

Hi ..

A few years ago I was experimenting and made an Etch a Sketch for Grant's Challenge ... I'm pretty sure that I still have the layered file somewhere :)

Very cool. And all of a sudden, a lightbulb went on for me...what a great canvas for using my Wacom pen and pad! This is going to be fun.

But I have to go play golf today, so maybe tomorrow.

Great job, Wendy. I notice his copyright is on the bottom as is escrappers.com on mine. Wonder if Etch-a-Sketch company has a problem with us using this. (Edit) Or maybe it's free advertising for them. :-)

Hi Suzanne ...

I don't think that Etch a Sketch will be too bothered about us using it ... there actually isn't a copyright on mine as I made the whole thing from scratch and added Grants Challenge to the bottom of it myself ..

I managed to find the layered file :) ... thankfully I hadn't flattened it and I also found another one that I made. This one is a Homer Simpson Etch a Sketch

That really made me laugh! Never saw a Home Simpson Etch a Sketch. Your imagination runs wild sometimes. And that's a good thing!:D:):)
