Problem draging from bin to opened photo

I was trying something that was discussed in a thread about framed layers and had a problem.

I open three pictures in editor. When I try to move one of the photos from the photobin into one of the photos in the workspace, I get the message...Could not complete your request because the file could not be found. I don't know why.

After you opened the photo in Elements, is it possible you could have deleted or moved the photo?

If not, I would try closing the photos, restarting Elements, then try again. Maybe it's just a temporary glitch and will behave as it should if you try again.

Or try this: Click on the Create tab. Under that, click on Artwork. Under that, at the right dropdown arrow, select Frames, then choose a frame and drag it over to your background image. [If you don't want a frame, click on the very first frame, which is "no frame."] In the center of the frame, it will say "Click Here to Add Photo." Click on it, then from the dialog that pops up, navigate to where your photo is, and double-click on the photo to Place it.

Diana, thanks for your reply. I tried the operation you suggested and I have no problem with it. The photos have not been moved or deleted. I still can't do the operation as I explained it.

Does this happen with one specific photograph or any photograph ?

I'm just wondering if its to do with the mode of the specific photograph ...

I happens with all photos, mode is RBG Color.
